Getting bigger

I have been painting.... I paint most days, but recently I've been dedicating my time to some bigger paintings. (I'll post those at a later date).  I got a bit bored with the small 20x20cms format so I decided to change everything around for a while.

This cherry painting is somewhere in between, it's long and narrow and the cherries are really big. I enjoyed painting this one...I love the colours. The background is roughly painted in gold, it took quite a few layers to get a reasonably compact colour.
