The little local art group that I joined a couple of years ago is holding an exhibition at the end of this month, so I have been hard at work preparing some new work for my corner of the room Although I haven't got precise measurements I think I will be able to hang about six largish paintings and perhaps some smaller coloured pencil pieces.
This is the first time I've had the chance to exhibit more than a couple of piece of work so it's very exciting...any advice welcome!
These grapes are one of the better bunches grown last year, painted in oil from sketches and photographs.

Such a beautiful and serene painting, Cathy!
Beautiful Cathy, good luck with the exhibition!
Hi Cathy ! How beautiful ! Really great work with these grapes ! All the best for the exhibit :)
Oh Cathy - this is stunning - I love it .... I coud just reach into the computer and pluck a grape from the bunch!! Good luck with the exhibition!
This is really beautiful, Cathy! A pleasant subject taken from autumn, made with a technique that appears unusual in these pages but that you handle with mastery! For the exhibit, if you have enough time, it would be good taking it as an occasion to make new works, specifically studied for the event, but I know you have so many wonderful works to show that your hardest work will be deciding what to take!
Have a nice weekend!
Lucia
Thank you Lucia, the group I paint with use oils and acrylics so it was a good opportunity to learn. I don't have enough time to do all new works but 2- 3 I can manage!
Thanks for the comments :)
