A Packed Suitcase

coloured pencil over watercolour & ink

Here's my trusty trolley, bulging at the seams as usual.  Cheap flights and hand luggage only have reduced me to cramming everything into one tiny trolley bag.   I am perfecting the art of having everything I need for a week/10 days  in minature form or rolled up.  I've even had framed paintings in there and I always have a little sketching kit in the front pocket.  I often sit on it to get it closed!

OOoooohh, nicely done! Yes, I've become very adept at packing everything I need in a small carry on bag. I can get away with that for a week. For a weekend, everything I need goes into a backpack.

this is s lovely drawing - that suitcase is really bulging!
I have been able to refine my clothes packing to a small amount, but it is the extra pencils, camera, sketchbooks and waterbottle etc that take up the room! Happy travelling

I love your little sketch, and I love that you call it a trolley bag. I don't think the U.S. has a specific name for them, do we? lol nancy
