Tall Buildings

Not exactly skyscrapers ( we don't have any of those anyway) but beautiful old tall buildings around Piazza Marina.
I find the tops of these old buildings interesting, I imagine little roof gardens and hidden terraces, but you would probably have to climb many flights of stairs first!

Oooh, this is such a cool composition! I love all the lines flowing back and forth and up and down, and the nice color scheme pulling it together too. It's really good, Cathy!

I would take these building any time over skyscrapers. Would that ever be such a neat place to sit up there and sip coffee or wine. I also like balconies and the colours.

I always have fun imagining what little corners of greenery or comfy nooks are at the top of buildings, and these look particularly appealing - lovely picture, drawing the eye up, and leading you to ponder.

Oh Cathy, this is perfect. This actually remainds me of my holiday in Italy last year - it has that exact atmsphere. How do you manage to do that every time??

By the way - that was in Sicily :)

Thanks for the comments!

Koosje - I do try to capture the atmosphere, I've been living here for a long time so I've sort of soaked it up!
