It's true, it's that time of year when strawberries are everywhere and I love eating and painting them, but sometimes they get eaten before I can paint them!
Our group exhibition at a restaurant has been getting some publicity in local papers...fame at last!
My painting looks ok in black and white I think?
In this article we were likened to the 'Charlie's Angels of painting'.....I really don't think so!!!

Mmmm, your strawberries look delicious! And yes, your painting looks just fine in black and white! Congrats on the publicity - very exciting!! nancy
Love the strawberries especially the squished one :)
Great publicity. Charlie's Angels of painting - what fun!
Those strawberries make my mouth water! Congratulations on the publicity!
Cathy, your painting looks great in black and white. But Charlie's Angels??? Hmmm ...
Hey, can I be Charlie?!
Love the strawberries - such a "simple" subject - but with it you have made the most beautiful composition, making ample use of that negative space. Love it!
An artist's riddle:
Q - Why does your painting look so good in black and white?
A - It has value!
These strawberries look sooo tasty! :) yam yam :)
Lovely Cathy!!
Love them strawberries...you made them look even more mouthwatering. Congratulations on making to the media =)
Lol, I guess this newspaper black and white shows the real life importance of a value study! Yes, it looks good even in the paper! I don't know about Charlie's Angels as all I know about them is they were cops I think, who ran around in dresses and high heels. What they have to do with artists is beyond me.
None of us wear high heels & run around in dresses! well only sometimes ;)
Congratulations! And your picture put into black and white is fabulous! You definitely don't have problems with values! Love the juicy strawberries!
