Peppe, Pasta and Paintings!

I still find it difficult to sketch people if they don't keep still for a few minutes.  I was getting very frustrated when fortunately my friend's husband agreed to sit and pose for me.  So thank you Peppe!

My art group friends and I will be exhibiting for a month at 'La Sovarita' Restaurant, Marineo.  Please pop in for some pasta or pizza if you're in the area (that's tempting isn't it?) and have a look at our art too!

Oh how I wish I could just pop in and see all the lovely art, not to mention the pasta and pizza! I really like the portrait of Peppe! It is so hard to draw folks who won't sit still (what's up with that! lol).nancy

Wonderful portrait Cathy. And exciting about your exhibition. As the others have said it would be fabulous to be able to see it in person.

You are a talented bunch! Those are all great paintings in the brochure. I'd enjoy a Margarita pizza but pass on the beer!

I so wish I could be there for your show! I understand about people not keeping still! My whole family runs from me...and because they are still, the portraits come out terribly, which of course reinforces their urge to run! Well done on this portrait!
