Jump!
'Jump' for Illustration Friday.
I don't know if this counts as a jump but I'd love to know how fish, dolphins etc manage to leap out of the water. Do they build up speed first? I'm sure there's an explanation!
I love this painting, we have a fish just like this one called hermione. She swims upside down when she has eaten too much. ck to sketch this oneu must have been so quiI do hope you rescued your fish, yo

Lovely watercolor! Love the fish. But, will someone put him back in?!
Great colours and I like the way you have painted the splashing water with those beautiful drops of watercolour!
Love it! I had a similar idea for this week's topic :0)

I love the goldfish's facial expression! no doubt he'll jump back in when he's ready.
I love how you composed your painting where you just see a hint of the fishbowl. Terrific.
What a cute illustration for "jump"!
Really love the colours of the goldfish and the whole page is brilliant.
Really great piece, such fresh color, and good question- now I will wonder what ever caused this fish to jump! :o)
Perfect Cathy
What a lovely jump! I don't know how they do it, but you have certainly captured the very essence of it!!
