Lovely painting and perspective. I would guess your "best" foot is the cleanest one. If you can't tell, it's the slightly larger one (everyone has a slightly larger one! Usually the right one.) Alternatively, it might be the foot you would use to kick the ball in a kickball game. :)
I knew it...I just knew there would be a hidden treasure (well OK, not really hidden). Like everyone says, I think the perspective is great. Best foot? Well I'm right handed and right footed - also I think the right one is the best looking :-) Great sketch! Stew. http://stewcrowther.wordpress.com/

great drawing Cathy, and good point!
Great interpretation on the theme, and the perspective , and what you have included is just right.
Your best foot forward is either one !
Great work, love the perspective of it. And what foot is better, I would say the one that dosen't make you fall : )
Some good advice here, I wonder if you're right-handed does it naturally follow that your best foot will be the right?
Thanks for the comments :)

Both of these feet look pretty darn good to me. Nice sketch!!
Either one, just move! Great illustration!
Great way to illustrate the theme.
Lovely...I like the combination of watercolor and pencil. And beautiful shadows, as always; I can just feel the warm sunlight.
