Indeed, this tree does have 'presence'!
Beautifully done! Yes, this tree certainly has personality.
Definitely!! This tree has"got its swag ON!" A lovely capture of its personality!
Just lovely. Ink and w/c?
I love trees, and this olive tree has so much character.
Yes,I can see a somewhat sassy "pose." I love that it fills the page.Beautiful (as usual)!
A tree with an attitude! Beautiful drawing!
kinda looks like it's dancing to me =) it's got style!Very well drawn, and I am so glad that tree is your favorite subject because it means we get to see a lot of these all the time. Thanks for your comments Cathy!
I like this very much: a tree with so much personality could illustrate a story maybe?Sue
love it. it's like a figure drawing - so much emotion. it seems like a tortured survivor.
ditto on the comments....this tree has soul!
nice! kinda reminds me of jack's beanstalk.
gorgeous tree! It definitely has presence, and character. I love trees as well. I'm working on an old droopy, moss and lichen covered willow for someone right now. Very challenging!
What a lovely painting. Strange looking tree too. Nicely done.
Hi Cathy, Your paintings are beautiful and for me really capture the essence of Sicily. I have family over there and we spent time in the hill town of Caltebellotta. I used to get up early every morning before the kids and finds doorsteps to sit on so that I could sketch and try to capture a piece of the gorgeousness. Your paintings have now bought it all back. Thank you!
No reason to quit drawing trees, your creations are so special.
Wow. Beautiful shape, beautifully done!
Missed this one! Love it! - gnarly, twisted, surly and unsettled - seems like it'd slap you if it could! You are the master of gnarly trees!
That tree has so much character - like one commenter said, it's sassy. Love the texture in the bark.
Love this tree - what a personality! So nicely drawn too!!
You really do excel at trees, Cathy. This gnarled beauty is fabulous!
Beautiful! It seems a fascinating character for an imaginary fairy tale...
