Don't Eat My Figs!

I wanted to try out my new watercolour set,  so nobody could eat these figs until I'd finished.  The back one was getting very soft and sticky, but that's just how I like them!

Beautifully drawn Cathy! I don't think I am a big fan of figs, but I think I am a fan of whatever you draw really =)

Thank you for the comments!
The new watercolours set are an Italian travel set, Venezia by Maimeri. I'm quite pleased with it as it has lots of mixing space, although I will take out the black & replace it with another colour.

I really like your last 4 posts Cathy. The Alcantara one is especially brave - I would only take photos of something so big - but you have produced a fabulous painting.

Great work, Cathy! You hand is so sensitive in reproducing the slightest variations of colours in the subjects taken from nature!

Yummy looking and they look just like one I had while visiting my son in Oceanside, California. Figs aren't found in most stores here so you need to know someone with access to a tree to get any. You did a wonderful job with such a special fruit!
