Yummmm...I love figs: both real and virtual. These are deliciously beautiful!
These are BEAUTIFUL!! So delicious with just a little cream and a tiny bit of sugar! What new watercolor set did you buy . . . the colors are gorgeous!
Just looking at your painting, I can taste these!
these aresome lovely figs... and i would love to eat them ; )
Figs are a delightful pleasure, and your little painting evokes their deliciousness, that's for sure! nancy
Beautifully drawn Cathy! I don't think I am a big fan of figs, but I think I am a fan of whatever you draw really =)
Beautiful! Figs do just beg to be painted. Love those colors!
mmm, everything about figs is good, including this painting! Great post :)
Lovely sketch that makes my mouth water !! What brand are your new watercolours ?
lovely, mouth-watering Cathy
Thank you for the comments! The new watercolours set are an Italian travel set, Venezia by Maimeri. I'm quite pleased with it as it has lots of mixing space, although I will take out the black & replace it with another colour.
The color in these figs are beautiful..."delicious" I,d say!
Good enough to eat :-)
like Elizabeth I just thought yuuuuummmm when i saw your figs! ;)
Yum! Nice figs
I wouldn't have eaten them - I just don't like them ....... but I do like your picture!!
I really like your last 4 posts Cathy. The Alcantara one is especially brave - I would only take photos of something so big - but you have produced a fabulous painting.
Great work, Cathy! You hand is so sensitive in reproducing the slightest variations of colours in the subjects taken from nature!
I hope to be as good as you at watercolours! Love it! :)
mmm - but they're good enough to.yummmm.
Yummy looking and they look just like one I had while visiting my son in Oceanside, California. Figs aren't found in most stores here so you need to know someone with access to a tree to get any. You did a wonderful job with such a special fruit!
