Watercolour and coloured pencil using Google Sreet View for this month's 'Virtual Paintout'.
The location this month is Romania. I didn't have any real idea what I was looking for, so I was pleased to spot this smartly dressed man walking in an area that I think is called Gaiesti. I just loved his shadow!

Amazing that you could find such a great subject on Google Street View.
This is great, I like that you drew this man, he looks like a great character
Great drawing, fantastic shadow... It kind of reminds me of a character from a story I likes as a child... I just like how you made it, well done!
Great find - he would have fitted in well with your Sketch book project theme. Beautifully drawn.
I like this very much - and I would never have thought of using Google street view. That is a brilliant idea, and how surprised would he be to know he's featured in such a lovely painting!
I think he looks like Alfred Hitchcock!
Great Cathy
You find the best details on google street finder. I seem to always end up looking at gates and garages.
That's another exquisite shadow. You make them look so easy, and I struggle with them. I love the combination of colored pencil and watercolor.
Cathy, when I visited the page of February on The Virtual Paintout, I immediately recognized your style in this beautiful drawing before reading your name!
