Christmas Cards

It's that time of year and  I've been busy making Christmas cards, I'm all behind as usual!  This is my design for this year, although I had to turn it into black and white then colour them slightly by hand as there wasn't time to get coloured prints done.  But I think they turned out ok and certainly a lot nicer and cheaper than bought ones.

"Ok," you say?
I say, "Fabulous!"
Really lovely. Reminds me of the tree in a Charlie Brown Christmas...but better because this one will grow still! (I'm not against cut trees just saying... ;))

That's perfect and, as you say, so much nicer than a shop-bought one. I really like the single bauble idea. People are so much more responsive to hand crafted cards these days and I'm sure your recipients will be enchanted!

Your little Christmas tree is so sweet and says a lot about what Christmas should really be. Thanks for sharing.

Just beautiful! I love the subtlety of the background trees and the stronger image in the front plane. But the red ornament is the special thing that makes it all work together so beautifully. How many are you hand coloring?

They look really great - a card that's a gift in and of itself. The original is really beautiful.

Lovely - a beautiful little scene. I am sure ayone who recieves one and knows that it is made by you will be delighted. Can you tell me how do you get them printed?

Alissa - I take my design on a pen drive to my local graphic/copiers, he does high quality photocopies for me. I got x4 on an A4 sheet of the bigger ones, then I just stuck them onto card...very simple!

Thank you everyone for all the lovely comments, I wish I could send you all a Christmas card!

Very nice and a little different, I think it is lovely to have personal cards somehow. It always means so much more :)
I feel better that someone else is behind a little, lately it seems to be the sory of my life.

Cathy...such a charming little tree. I love that the tree is lightly decorated and tilting to the right. To me it symbolizes the connection to God-he always has our right shoulder.

I wish for you a safe and beautiful holiday season. I also want to thank you for all of the positive comments you leave about my work on my blog.

I was associated with a local art group, but I am no longer so your input is especially appreciated.

Thank you, Cathy. I have pored over your blog and am very impressed with your ability and talent. I love that one so talented has positive things to say about my work.

Have a wonderful Christmas, and Godd Bless you.

Best,
