The Washing Line

Everyday Matters 286 and 287 together!
I was hanging out my washing and pondering on how the colourful pegs would be good for EDM 287, draw something colourful, then I noticed the shirt  in my hand..aha! EDM 287 too .  So that's a cheeky two in one challenge I admit my guilt!  I also made the washing a little bit more colourful just to keep in with the theme.
I think this is 'mixed media', there's a bit  of pen, watercolour and coloured pencil all in there.

I love this! You choose subjects that I have often considered painting myself, and you mix your mediums in such beautiful ways!

Nicely done, I love the colors, composition and the flowing feeling of it all. It's like I can feel the gentle wind blowing through the laundry. I like it very much.

Wonderful image - great colors. Clotheslines are so seldom used these days, that there is actually a bit of nostalgia associated with the image.

This is lovely! I still hang my washing out on a line, but it isn't quite as colourful as yours!

One day last summer I decided to hang my clothes on the line to dry instead of using the electric clothes dryer. One quick way to tell that you don't have enough color in your wardrobe!! Needless to say, I went to the store specifically for something colorful! This is a fabulous response to colorful and an excellent combination of edms!

Nice drawing! We can say that your artistic work began when you started hanging your washing, combining the colours of your clothes... and creating a sort of installation!
