Here are some more pages for the Sketchbook Project complete with wrinkled pages (the paper doesn't like watercolour).
The first is part of a nature reserve on the coast with plenty of hidden coves and caves, perfect for the smugglers of olden days. My title is 'Encyclopedia of Secret Places' and this area has plenty of secret history!
A closer look at one of the coves, I love the sound of waves as they rattle the pebbles on the beach.

What a shame the paper doesn't like watercolor, but your "sketches" are wonderful anyway.
Every time you post pages for The Sketchbook Project, I feel these pangs of guilt. You are progressing so beautifully, and I haven't started! Your latest sketches are wonderful. I can almost hear the waves !!
Betty, you'll have to be quick..just a couple of months left!
Just beautiful ! I particularly love the different values on the pebbles !
Your sketchbook will undoubtedly be a success !
It makes me think I should get busy on mine !!
Just beautiful! You have so many great places around you!
I thought I read that they had improved the paper. Sorry to hear it still doesn't take watercolor well!
Beautiful!
My pages are quite wrinkled from watercolors too
Your work is really skillful and beautiful. I always check your posts to EDM even tho I don't always comment. Great stuff and so inspiring!!
I so enjoy your painting, even if the paper isn't good quality.
It's so cool that you have so many secret places nearby! But what's even cooler is the way you portray and describe them! Another beautiful entry for the project. nancy
Charming places, beautiful atmosphere and wonderful light, Cathy :)
These are fabulous - what a pity the paper has wrinkled!
beautiful sketches despite the paper wrinkling! I like the colors-it looks like a wonderful place to be
Thank you, it's about an hour away by car and you can only get there on foot. Even boats aren't allowed to moor there, one of my favourite places!
Raena - the paper is only marginally better than last year...it's not transparent anymore|!
pretty scenes! Very well captured =) and i really like the way you composed them
