Some little pears from my garden that I originally did in watercolour, I painted them several times on different paper but couldn't get them right. (It's easy to blame your tools when it goes wrong!)
But in the end I went over the top with coloured pencil and liked it more.

These have such a lovely bloom - how talented you are!
These are perfect - or should I write 'imperfect' - as they look so real. Nice work, Cathy, as always. x
They look very real, I nearly ate them!
Beautifully lucious pears.
YUM! They look quite tasty now, Cathy!
Well of course it's the tools! Lol. They sure came out pretty in colored pencil and a great recording of your very own pears off your tree!

I agree with everyone else's comments, of course (gorgeous color and form), but what I also love is the whimsical layout.
(Thank you Melissa!)
perfectly rendered --love the composition!
Going over the top seems to have worked beautifully!
Lovely - I like the colour on the little one on the left.
Somehow, I don't think my first comment here "took" so here goes again:
This is a lovely trio!! Colored pencil, the perfect medium for your beauties, looks great in the shadows too!! Brilliant work!
These look very tasty! I always enjoy seeing the combination of watercolor and color pencil.
Delicious!
Just beautiful Cathy!
These are gorgeous...aren't pears just the most elegant shape?
Nice work Cathy. Those textures are just perfect.
