Stay

'Stay' for Illustration Friday.

They say every picture tells a story, but you can make up your own story for this one.  Is it a happy ending or not?

Great "far away" feeling, and that soft atmosphere could work either way - sad evening or promising dawn. Beautiful work!

Nice job on the planes, depth and the shininess of the floor. This turned out great and my ending is he is waiting for someone to come in for a long "stay"!

I really, really love your interpretation of the topic. It's so atmospheric. And my answer to the question at the end is 'No'

Very, very nice. Love the idea, first of all. It very strongly represents the topic. And the picture, what can I say? The floor shines, the man is silhouetted and the morning sunrise colors everything.

Great image Cathy......it does provoke many ideas for a story....quite appropriate for me, my family off to Europe next week and I'm the one to stay.

Lovely image Cathy. For me it's sad, but that's because I want to remain in Doha (to return after the summer hol) and not say goodbye to all my friends.

This is stunning and very evocative. I love the colors you've chosen as well as the composition.
