Bell Peppers

Still painting veggies... I get more pleasure painting from life than a photograph and tend to paint whatever is in season and of course in my fridge!
These are watercolour with a bit of pastel on top (23x33 cms).

And you paint the contents of your fridge so exquisitely! I love the color design, and the shadows and highlights especially. It's wonderful!

Too nice to eat. Your colour mixing on the paper is lovely

I so agree with you--nothing beats painting the thing sitting right in front of you. This is lovely, you completely captured the slickness with your highlights, and the color mixing in the shadows gives them even more pizzazz.

I love these painted vegies and the no stress still life idea of just reaching into your vegetable bin for a painting subject.
I am going to look in my veggie bin today for a painting subject, but I fear there might be some rotten things.
