A Slice of Melon

It's been difficult to keep up these past few weeks, it might look like I've been on holiday or doing my gardening but I've been beavering away and finishing some larger paintings.  These I will be posting over this month and hopefully I can work on some new ideas and do some sketching.
This watercolour sketch of a  slice of juicy melon I painted after lunch and then as usual I ate it!

Really evocative--you got the juiciness of the melon with the juiciness of your paint! Nice.

Beautiful...I love it that you do such a realistic rendering in such a loose style. And the little juice "splat" is perfect.

Hello Cathy,
Guess who got a new laptop - but of course, you know...sorry about the spam email - hopefully I've got that sorted.
That looks rather good....slurp!
Beautifully painted.
