Just the Smallest Sketch

A small sketch from my garden.... geraniums are one of the  things that grow well in my garden and survive even the hottest summer!
This isn't the only art I've done all week, I've been working on a large coloured pencil piece and several paintings but none are at a stage worth showing.
Sometimes there just isn't time to do all the things I want to do but a little sketch a day helps me feel I've actually completed something.

So beautiful. Just love geraniums for their unusual structure.

You have no idea how often I have struggled to paint geraniums. Will look closely at this and try to learn from your lovely painting. Have a lovely weekend

Lovely! I too am a geranium lover, but I don't know how to capture them.

The promise of spring !

beautiful...as ethereal as the painting below it of the shoreline is substantial...impressive to see reality rendered in such opposite but equally aesthetic ways.

Your "smallest" sketch carries a huge punch! Simply beautiful. I love geraniums and you really captured the flower's essence here.

This looks like a flower that are very common at older peoples houses especially here in Sweden. Very pretty!
