When it's wet, windy and cold out I start to paint what I find in my kitchen. That's why all my recent posts have been food/fruit, here's hoping for some sunny weather!
I enjoy painting with red so these little cherry tomatoes are ideal, I might have another go later if they haven't been eaten....but then on the other hand I've got a big bowl of oranges here on the table.
Decisions, decisions.
If you would like to keep up with my posts/artwork on Facebook, I've just taken the plunge and started my own page. It would be great to see you over there, the more the merrier! You can find the link on my sidebar.

nice! I envy your watercolor skill :'D how long have you gone with it?
Beautiful! I like the way you have splashed the colour!
I love this watercolor. they just look so juicy.
Just beautiful! Love the composition - the shadows, the counterpoint of the exquisite drip and the stem. Excellent!
These do look good enough to eat. Your paintings always remind me that I should leave more white space on my pages. I have a habit of filling it all up with colour. I love the way your images are so vibrant against the white.
I've found and followed your Facebook page. Looking forward to seeing more there.
I love this painting. Good luck on facebook, be careful it is addictive. See you there
I can almost taste them
so adorable!
Ahdini - this took me about 30 minutes excluding some drying time in between.
Thank you all for the kind comments!
Delightful Cathy.
Love your tomatoes and your style! Also, love your colorful blog header!!
They look so delicious, they make me wish that I liked tomatoes!
I love cherry tomatoes! :D You've painted these so real I could taste them in my mouth ^^
Cherry tomatoes can be such a treat. These also are a treat for the eye! I love this painting! Hard decisions to make out there in your kitchen... Oranges, yum if you make one of your juicy paintings.. I can't wait! and then afterwards you could make a sicilian insalata di arance, with lots of chili flakes... :)
