Blue Bottle

Oil on stretched canvas,20x20cms

No not the fly type of 'blue bottle' but a little oil painting of a bottle and jar I have at home on a granite shelf.
Now I know how hard it is to paint granite!

Simply stunning, Cathy. Gorgeous.

Your blue glass looks perfect. Granite does look tricky but it's easy to dismiss with the beauty of the main objects.

Cathy, this is so pretty. Blue is by far my favorite color.

There's a great harmony in these colours, the blue objects seem to be made for the granite! I also like the play of light on the surfaces.

This piece is wonderful, evocative and full and glowing. Just wonderful.

Fabulous vibrant blues. And the granite surface is lovely too. Love the softness of the colours merging, and the little highlighted reflections. Lovely.

When I saw the heading my first thought was of the fly, so I was delighted to see that instead it was your beautiful bottle!
