Fluid Reflections





The still water in the fountain reflects perfectly the surrounding buildings like a mirror.  That is until a lone pigeon disturbs the water and the reflection becomes a shimmering fluid pattern.

I agree...there's a mysteriously real, tactile quality about this lovely little piece. I swear I saw that bird dip his little head down to the water!

We were entertained this afternoon by first a robin and then a blackbird splashing in the birdbath
