Safari

'Safari' for Illustration Friday in watercolour and coloured pencil.
I imagine that a safari would be hot and dusty with glimpses of animals through the trees and I've been waiting for the chance to draw a zebra!

What a lovely zebra! It looks like it's relaxing in the grass on a warm, sunny African day.

Great zebra! I have copies of some photos taken by a friend on safari that I think will make a great painting one of these days. Good for you to sketch a zebra, without going on a safari!

Ooh, great tones on the zebra. Nice work.

I kike the contrast between the tones a=in the Zebra and the background. The texture of the pencil works well to unify to drawing

Very nice! Like the peaceful feel of it. And the shape and lines of the zebra are perfect.
