Light as a Feather

Something light for Everyday matters.  I love drawing feathers and these are part of my little collection.
In the actual drawing the yellow and blue is hardly visable, the scanner picked up the colour off the white pencil.

Just beautiful! is it colored pencil on black paper?
One of the favorite projects I give my art students is on black paper using white charcoal. Lovely!

laruelapalooza - Yes it is coloured pencil on black paper, it's the only way I've found to draw white feathers.
Thanks for the comments!

Thats really lovely and so soft, love your style of drawing, you are very good with colour pencils and water colours.

Beautiful, very spring and Easter like.

Lovely! You have portrayed so well the lightness of these feathers that they seem to fly trough the paper!

So very clever.

Scanners are cusses for removing colours and adding others, aren't they!

Wow! Wow! These are so terrific. What is your secret? Beyond talent which you can't share is there a book that you recommend for learning colored pencil like this?
