I really love this one, and by far my favourite. I like how you left in by the waste down, could be a boy or a girl, any one taking a careful step forward. Love it!!!
Another fun illo. The word 'journey' is so overused these days in terms of art and even reality TV that I groaned inwardly when I saw this week's theme - but as usual your take on it is so refreshingly different. x

A lovely interpretation of the theme!
This is a very tasty illustration for such a powerful proverb! Good job. :-)
Wonderful, wise interpretation. Lovely sketch.
You always find brilliant images to illustrate an idea! I like the green of the grass and your treatment of the shadows!
Such an original idea and a beautiful rendition§ I love the contrasts you manage to paint !
It's such a wonderful way to represent the idea! And your rendering is just right, too!!! Beautiful!
Lookin' good...glad you used that quote...it is going in my collection. Thank you...

I remember the stepping-stones over little streams in Scotland and Wales.
And you are right: better baby-steps than no steps at all.

Lovely illustration - perfect for the theme. Love the proverb too.
