Some more tiny pieces of work. I like to try out new ideas and experiment on these smaller sizes.
This is strange tree in the botanical gardens, it actually has far more branches than I put in, but I liked the pattern they made.
This other one is a red dragonfly, a 'Kirby's Dropwing' is the name I found on internet. Normally found in Africa but also in the South of Europe. We're not that far from Africa, so that makes sense.
Both are watercolour and coloured pencil

Love the tree.. puts me in mind of a tree in a fairy wood...
the red dragonfly is precious, too :) xx
I sure love the colors in that tree... so beautiful!
Looks like you've enjoyed working with smaller sizes!
Really charming...it is an interesting challenge to work in that small format. I'll have to try it!
I love your paintings. It takes a delicate and patient hand to render with such sensitivity.

Of course I love the tree - I ttok some more photos of 'my' tree the other day. I just hope it survives the very windy weather we have today!
Your work is lovely, looking forward to seeing how your journal develops of the places around you.
Love the dusty boots.
Love the soft touch on the tree and the details on the dragonfly =)
I am always happy when I look at your work
Wonderful works... despite the tiny size they reveal a quantity of colours and a great accuracy in details. The tree seems to be taken from a magic forest!
