This 'online' Christmas card was inspired by a photograph by my friend Anne on her blog Frayed at the Edge up in cold and snowy Scotland.

Cathy this is so pretty! You've created a gentle, warm Christmas mood here. I love how it fades away in the corners. I'd like to try doing that with some of my paintings. It's so nice!
The painting is amazing - great architectural detail and the snow makes it all perfect! The glow through the windows makes me picture the cozy interior - you've achieved so much with this image.

Beautiful work and I am laughing. Huge icicles have been falling from next doors house onto our wooden decking all day and making me jump out of my skin...they are also about a foot long and lethal! But, your imaget looks lovely and I do like the twinkly lights. Merry Christmas
