Lots of Faces

More sketchbook project pages and I'm running as fast as I can towards the end.  There are still at least 8 - 10 double page spreads left to do, although I do know what the last page will be.
After the faces made of stone here is one made of metal.  (I know... I'm getting desperate here!)

This gorilla is my monkey face, although the green scanned a bit bright, it should be more of an olive colour.

These people are queuing up to be included in my sketchbook ;-)

The sketchbooks have to returned by January, but I'd like to get mine done before Christmas, so I will concentrating on this  as much as possible, any ideas on 'a face in the crowd' theme welcome!

Well, there is an old movie, "A Face In The Crowd", with Andy Griffith. You might find some ideas there.
Maybe faces in the crowds of shoppers for Christmas and pre-Christmas sales-crowds of people going home (or to Grandma's house) for Thanksgiving and the holidays.
We had a lot of faces in the crowd at the Aggie-Nebraska football game Saturday night. Over 97,000 people in the stadium-a record. You might find some pictures online. I know there are some on YouTube.

lol - I love that queue, it's great. How about some blank faces? Maybe a group of them?

You'll get there!

Thank you all, some great ideas!

Look at that gorilla - he's fabulous!

When I was a kid (and as an adult), I saw faces in cars and houses. There were mean, cranky cars, happy and mild mannered cars, sleepy houses, stern houses - if you make them your models, they do a great job of sitting still =) (Provided the car is parked, that is)

I can't remember if you have done football fans with their faces painted with their national flags, or maoris with tattoos. Malcolm says thank you for the advice on wetting his drawings - he will give it a try.
Almost forgot to say I love today's pictures!!

The metal face is so interesting! I love the queue. This may seem obvious (and so boring), but I don't think you have done faces illustrating expressions yet. Love the puzzle one, btw. So leaving boring aside - you can do a "type face", "about face", "face off" or "Facebook" lol. Love your creativity. I'm just going with your flow.

Looking good Cathy! I still have lots to go) one idea from Hong Kong, since the S.A.R.S. and bird flu people have covered their faces by surgical masks(...might include this in a brief pollution comment on mine) but the funny thing is over here that people now use them to hide their faces from the media (at court appearances etc.)...also when my hubby had to wear one people tend to steer clear of those in masks, rather than realizing that those in masks were avoiding the germs of others

Awesome drawings! The metal face is very interesting! The gorilla face is great - and I love the last drawing, the people queuing up to get in the sketchbook, it's so neat, lovely and perfectly done. Neat lines and great soft colors.

Lovely drawings! This theme has given you the opportunity to draw so many different things and situations, and you have always managed to create pleasant drawings with your soft, beautiful colours.

I think you've been very creative with your faces and I especially like the crowd of people so eager to be next!

I don't know how you keep coming up with these ideas. Love that metallic face! Hey - how about doing some shop window mannequins? Or maybe I missed that post. LOL x

These are all so great! I would love to sit down and read your whole sketchbook. The group of people at the bottom is especially fun! Great job! Are you finished with the whole sketchbook!?
