Cherry O Baby

Coloured pencil 16 x 7cms

I felt like doing something colourful and painterly so I had a go at these cherries.  Until  I actually came to draw them I didn't realise just how many reds and purples there were!  Guess what my favourite colours are?

These are beautifully done. I really like the look of colored pencils and you've captured the look of real cherries so well and now I'm hungry.

Hi Cathy, Fun cherries! What makes this composition special for me is how you cropped it. Long and narrow is different and helps to accentuate the curves. Festive!

Peggy - I'm glad you like the crop, I thought it went well with the curves too :)
