Don't want to do it!

 Pen and coloured/watercolour pencils

Everyday Matters 282 - Something you've been putting off or don't want to do

Both!  I hate ironing and I don't ever want to do it, so I always put it off.  Only when  the enormous tower of clothes is about to topple over do I consider doing any of it.  This isn't very clever when in the morning you have nothing ironed to wear and can create panic among the teenagers in the house.  I have tried to train them to iron for me, but they have to be in a VERY good mood first!
Needless to say sportswear (the sort that doesn't crease in the wash) is very popular with me and roll on the day when all clothes are 'wash n wear'.

I agree !! Mine is hidden in the clothes dryer while they wait to be ironed. Lovely drawing of them piled up in the corner (hiding)

I'm not fond of ironing either, but I'm very fond of this drawing! My DH does his own ironing, and once in awhile he even irons something of mine for me! Am I lucky, or what? lol nancy

Nice drawing! :-) Sadly ironing is something of a lost skill for us. Fortunately, sportswear is a very common sight in Seattle. ;-)

Perfect response to this challenge! And very well done! I'm terrible at ironing. I think I iron in more wrinkles than I take out, and I'm usually all tied up in the cord by the time I finish. I hate ironing so much that I actually look for clothes that say they don't need ironing!

I tackled the ironing yesterday, as I couldn't get into the utility room for the size of the pile!! Lovely drawing!

No problem with me as my husband does it most of the time ... lucky me! But I don't mind doing that as much as dusting and hoovering (which unfortunately my DH doesn't fancy either !!)I love your sketch: very nice colours and lines !

Sometimes I find ironing is relaxing (I know, Im nuts)... but I do it front of the TV and I like the new ironed look when Im done. I like the picture, and I can relate with it, but with me its the dirty laundry pile (I hate to log it all the way downstairs). Great work on the drawing and the colours are very nice.

I laughed hysterically when my new husband (15 years ago) thought I'd iron his work shirts. My motto is if the dryer doesn't take out the wrinkles, then its not worth wearing. Talk about lazy, huh?

Great sketch as always!

I hate the thought of ironing, but once started I find it relaxing as the nameless person above. Great drawing.
