Squeeze from the bottom please!

Everyday Matters 275 - draw a tube of toothpaste

What can I say...it's a tube of toothpaste!  I would have liked to squeeze out the toothpaste  and draw that too, but that seemed a bit wasteful, even in the name of art, and I didn't draw the word 'men' on the tube on purpose,  that's just where I stopped with the lettering!

Thats a great drawing (did you do that in pencil?). Reminds me of the tubes I find laying around after my kids get a go on them (they always squeeze from the top).

Well done.

aargh this would drive me crazy (you can see why with my post of this). Although a tube of men could be interesting.

Great drawing though, I love the detail you have captured.

Haha, not on purpose then. Great drawing, you have even managed to capture the texture, nice one :D

Great - I like this: you've made it iconic - and I do like that little squeeze of toothpaste at the top.

What with that comic title and the lettering on the tube this makes for a very amusing sketch. I love it.
Do you remember the days of metal toothpaste tubes when it was even more infuriating if someone squeezed from the top!

In our last two houses we have been firtunate enough to have separate bathrooms - so it came as a shock on holiday to have Malcolm squeeze the toothpaste at the top!! Fabulous drawing ..... and wouldn't it be nice if we could keep men in a tube and just sqeeze one out whe n needed!!

Gillian - I wanted one of those metal tubes to draw, you could even roll them up.

Anne - I think you've got the right idea!!

Great! I think the squeeze in the middle on the toothpaste around the top are a nice touch!

This is a new favorite! Great use of color and value, and I think the colored pencil is the perfect medium here. Great job.
